DQji's hilarious episodes
DQji (short for ‘Don Quizzote’) is a colourful character at the Bangalore Quiz Group and goes by the moniker “DQji of BQG”. He is often crooked, sometimes straight. Because of his past escapades, the cops are always keeping track of him and his faithful servant, Harilal, has been instructed to alert the cops the instant any suspicious activity arises.
DQji’s activities are so mysterious that most cases are referred to Interpol. They crack the clues easily, much to the Indian Police’s chagrin.
DQji has had many different adventures at The Bangalore Quiz Group!
In each adventure members are given clues (including visual clues) and the members need to successfully decipher the clues. This is an extremely educational series with a strong learning component and high knowledge retention by the participants.DQji meets Ravanna
Harilal, DQji's man Friday, called the local Police Station to report that his boss was making yet another foreign trip shortly. Inspector Pande called for the file on DQji and, noting that there had been no suspicious activity for over six months now, decided not to take any immediate action. "Sahib kahaan jaa rahein hein?" (Where is your Saheb going?) he asked Harilal. "Maloom nahin, Sir" (I do not know, Sir) was the reply.
"OK. Call me after he returns and let me know whether there is anything suspicious about his behaviour" said Inspector Pande and put the telephone receiver down.
A fortnight later he got a call from a nearly hysterical Harilal. "Sahib Ravanna se milnay gaya tha!" (Sahib has gone to meet a demon) Harilal screamed into the phone. It took Inspector Pande a good ten minutes to calm the agitated servant down. "I will come this evening at 7 pm" he told Harilal, knowing that DQji invariably spent the evening at his Club.
At 7 PM when he got to DQji's house, he found a trembling Harilal. The man was clearly out of his wits. He seemed very scared.
"Sahib rakshas ban gaya hai" (Sahib has become a monster) he told Inspector Pande. "Bola Ravana se mil ke aaya. Thab yeh photo nikala aur humko bathaya. Mein poocha 'Sahib, yeh kaunsa jaanwar hai?'. Sahib ne kahaa 'I, I". Mujhko lagtaa hein ki Sahib yeh jaanwar ban gaya hai". (He told me that he has met Ravana. Then he showed me this photo. I asked him 'Sir, which animal is this? He said "I, I". I think master has become a demonic animal".
Inspector Pande laughed out loud at the servant's fears. "Don’t worry, Harilal, there must be an explanation for this. I will find out and let you know. Till then, relax and do as the master says. Don't be frightened. Go and get me a photocopy copy of this photo".
Later that evening, Inspector Pande was relaxing at home. He told his wife Anjali about the strange call that he had received from Harilal. "He says his boss DQ met Ravanna!" he laughingly told her as he showed her the photocopy of the animal. It’s at:

She soon returned triumphantly.
"I know where DQ has been and where he got this sketch" she told him. I also know who "Ravanna" is!
Inspector Pande was wonderstruck. "Who is Ravanna and where has DQ been"? he asked his wife.
